Here are our top five recommendations that are really easy to prepare and yummy to drink when it comes to liquids you can consume to boost your immunity.
Spicy lemonade
Ingredients:
- 4 cups water
- Lemon juice of one medium sized lemon
- Few gratings of ginger
- 2-3 chopped garlic cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Few mint leaves
- 1-2 tbsp. organic honey, to taste
Method:
Add all the ingredients except honey to water and bring to a boil. Strain the mixture and add honey and consume warm.
Spiced tea
Ingredients:
- Peppercorns – 2-3
- Cloves – 2-3
- Ginger grated – 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon – 1stick
- Crushed cardamom – 1-2
- Star anise – 1
- Few tulsi leaves
- Honey to taste
Method:
Boil all the ingredients together for 25-30 minutes without honey. Strain and consume lukewarm with honey.
Spicy turmeric-milk drink
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp freshly grated turmeric
- ½ tsp grated ginger
- 1.5-2 cups of soy/almond milk
- ½ cup coconut milk
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2-3 tbsp honey
Method:
Lightly heat all the ingredients except honey for 8-10 minutes without bringing to boil. Strain and serve warm adding the required amount of honey.
Green smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of baby spinach
- ½ cup of cucumber
- 1 cup of curds
- ½ tsp lemon juice
- 1-2 cups ice cubes
- Few mint leaves
- Salt to taste
Method:
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth and consume immediately.
Turmeric-Ginger chai

Ingredients:
- Water- 3 cups
- Fresh turmeric grated 1-2 tsp
- Grated ginger- 1 tsp
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Honey to taste
Method:
Boil turmeric and ginger in water for 12-15 minutes, strain and add lemon juice. Serve warm with honey.
